To start a basic tool kit for your home

Congratulations on the purchase of your home. No matter what the age of the house, there's always something to do, and if you want to do as much as possible is a prerequisite.

One of the first things I suggest you buy a book for repairs at home. Home Depot has one, Lowe's has one, and I know that libraries have a wide range. These books are the collection of information, whether for repairs or for the configuration of inestimable value. Usually cover the entireBases, and give information about large objects, you probably have a professional repair. I would suggest that one always has a lot of illustrations, as these can be very useful. You learn to swim to replace an electrical contact, and many other things!

More and will be equipped with tools, I have some suggestions. You can go to spend a lot in the toolbox filled with hundreds of pieces, but I will, starting with asome simple tools, like a small hammer, a good set of screwdrivers, a key (perhaps a smaller and more), pliers, a drill, a measuring tape, filler, glasses and a knife. You can get a good tool box and go.

Think of a couple of other things that are a ladder, cloth, tape, brushes, extension cords, a pair of work gloves and a flashlight (at least).

With the purchase of tools, you cancheap or more expensive. My philosophy is expensive if you're not sure what you want to be, must have the tools, not with it. It is used less, and if you click with the tool all the time, so you can see to replace it, and when you will have a better idea of what you want. I could always go and talk about the tools that you might want, but I think it's best to start with the basics and add-on as you go.

If you have some large projects in mind that nonecessarily buy expensive tools to get started. Many hardware stores rent, you may need, such as a circular saw, tile saw, hammer drill, circular saws and pneumatic nail guns and compressors. You will save a lot of money to rent these items if I do not think you will ever use them again. And there will be less clutter in your garage or area workbench.

Good luck!
